It’s that flavorful time of the year again. Nyla’s 5th Annual Chili for Charity event is turning up the heat, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Spicing Up for a Noble Cause
Central to our event is our unwavering commitment to K9s for Warriors. This remarkable organization is dedicated to ending veteran suicide providing our heroes with a life of dignity and independence. By rescuing and training shelter dogs, they pair these faithful companions as Service Dogs with Warriors affected by Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or Military Sexual Trauma. As the nation’s largest provider of Service Dogs for disabled American veterans, K9s For Warriors has established itself as a beacon of hope for many. All proceeds from our event go to this tax-exempt 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization.
Over the past four years, our Chili for Charity event has raised over $20,000 for K9 for Warriors. We are immensely proud of this contribution, but we aim even higher this year!
Battle of the Small Businesses
This year’s theme promises excitement, friendly competition, and delicious chili – we’re talking about the “Battle of the Small Businesses.” We’ve got 15 incredible local businesses locked in and ready to compete for the prestigious title of ‘Chili Master.’ Will your favorite take home the crown?

- Location: Hysteria Brewing Co, Columbia, Maryland.
- Tickets: Your ticket doesn’t just give you access to all the chili tastings; it also comes with a complimentary drink to wash it down. Be sure to grab yours fast!
