David Capen serves as Nyla’s Vice President of Business Development. He brings over 26 years of Intelligence Community professional experience in fields such as Business Development, Program/Project Management, Software/Systems Engineering, Analytics, and Technology Development to further business goals and execute corporate vision and growth strategies. With a background spanning government contracting and emerging technologies, David brings insight, agility, and dedication to every engagement. He is passionate about connecting people, solving complex challenges, and delivering results that support long-term success.

 

He previously served as Executive Director of Growth & Strategy at Applied Network Solutions and as a Chief Technologist within the Strategic Innovation Group at Booz Allen Hamilton for over 23 years. Mr. Capen created the Booz Allen Summer Games internship program and was an inaugural Ethics Advisor for the Booz Allen Ethics Office. He graduated from Loyola College of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
