Nyla’s very own CEO, Shana Cosgrove, is being honored by The Daily Record as one of the top leaders in Maryland. The Top 100 Women was founded in 1996 to recognize outstanding achievements by women demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring. Since its inception, more than 1,700 women have been presented with the honor.
Winners are selected by an outside panel of judges based on professional achievement, community leadership, and mentoring. They received more than 450 nominations this year and held two rounds of judging. According to Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, senior group publisher of The Daily Record, “The 2022 Maryland’s Top 100 Women are high achievers who are leading change and mentoring the next generation. They bring unique gifts to leadership roles and help advance and grow companies across this great state. They are leading businesses during extraordinary times by guiding their teams from survival to ongoing success. We are pleased to celebrate these incredible women and all they have accomplished.”
Ms. Fischer-Huettner went on to say, “The 2022 Maryland’s Top 100 Women demonstrate the incredible progress women have made in leadership roles in Maryland. They inspire change and help to ensure that women have access to every opportunity. Their professional achievements, community impact and commitment to mentoring are outstanding. We at The Daily Record are honored to recognize their accomplishments.”
In addition to being featured in The Daily Record and on their website, there will be an awards ceremony honoring the women on this list at the University of Maryland Riggs Alumni Center on Monday, May 9, 2022.
