Chili for Charity 2022

 

Nyla is hosting its 4th Annual Chili-for-Charity cookoff benefiting K9 for Warriors, a nonprofit that pairs rescue dogs with veterans to help them recover from service time PTSD. Over the past three years, we have raised over $5,000 for K9 for Warriors. Let’s make this the best year yet!

All proceeds for this event benefit K9s for Warriors. K9s For Warriors is ending veteran suicide and returning our Warriors to a life of dignity and independence. They rescue and train shelter dogs to be paired as Service Dogs for Warriors with service-connected Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Military Sexual Trauma. They are the nation’s largest provider of Service Dogs for disabled American veterans. K9s For Warriors is a tax-exempt 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization.

 

 

 

 

This year’s event is especially exciting because, in a post-pandemic world, we are returning to an in-person event, and the theme is BATTLE OF THE SMALL BUSINESSES. We have TEN small businesses who have ponied up to compete for World’s Best Chili as determined by you, the attendees!

 

 

The cookoff battle will take place on November 11th at the Lost Ark Distilling in Columbia, Maryland, from 3 pm until 6 pm. Your $35 dollar ticket will include one drink ticket and chili samplings from these fine contenders!

 

The evening promises to be HOT with signature rum cocktails, the best of the best small businesses battling for our coveted Chili Cook Off Winner Trophy, and 50/50 raffle tickets!
