SHANA COSGROVE

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Shana Cosgrove is the founder, owner, and CEO of Nyla Technology
Solutions, Inc., A principal engineer, enterprise architect, and product
strategist— she combines over 20 years of experience in the computer
science and systems engineering fields with a creative, proactive, and
focused approach to projects that address all aspects of the software
systems lifecycle. Ms. Cosgrove graduated from the University of Virginia
School of Engineering and Applied Science with a Bachelors in Science in
Computer Science. She received her Masters in Science in Systems
Engineering of Computer-Based Systems from George Mason University.

BRIAN COSGROVE

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Brian Cosgrove is co-founder and partner of Nyla Technology Solutions, Inc. Mr. Cosgrove has 22 years of Department of Defense experience in technical roles from architecture design, software capability development, system deployments, and system operations. Mr. Cosgrove has broad technical knowledge and extensive experience matching hardware and software solutions in areas such as offensive and defensive cyber operations, overcoming SIGINT collection challenges, hosting Hadoop-based analytic tools, and standing up data storage/query services such as NoSQL and Elasticsearch systems. Mr. Cosgrove, individually, and as part of teams, has received more than a dozen awards, including from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. He has earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

AMANDA O’DONOHUE

CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER

Amanda O’Donohue is Nyla’s Chief Experience Officer (CXO). As CXO, Ms. O’Donohue expertly prospects and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with both business partners and customers alike. Internally, she directs process improvements to ensure an unparalleled level of employee engagement and that every potential candidate experience is a positive and pleasant one. Amanda O’Donohue leads Nyla’s philanthropic efforts through external partnerships, as well as, spearheading internal initiatives. In 2019 Ms. O’Donohue received The Daily Record’s Leading Women award, which honors 50 women who are 40 years of age or younger for the accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. Ms. O’Donohue graduated from The State University of New York College at Buffalo with a BS in Forensic Chemistry and earned a Masters in Forensic Science from Towson University.

STEPHANIE BEBEN

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Stephanie Beben is Nyla’s Chief Technology Officer, applying more than 10 years of experience and technical thought leadership to deriving value from massive data sets. She delivers expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Large-Scale Graph Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Data Visualization, and Rapid Prototyping across multiple sectors. Most recently, Ms. Beben was a Chief Data Scientist for Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic Innovation and National Security Groups. There she helped to stand up the firm’s Women in Data Science (WiDS) organization, contributed as an author for The Field Guide to Data Science, and spoke at multiple conferences on Data Science topics. Ms. Beben has a passion for cultivating diverse, multidisciplinary teams to solve our nation’s toughest technical challenges. Ms. Beben received her Bachelors in Mathematics from Quinnipiac University and a Masters in Mathematics from Texas A&M University.

Mrs. Angela Kiser is Nyla’s Director of Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Her journey before joining Nyla includes over 35 years at the United States Department of Defense, where she developed a wealth of experience from Software Development Engineer to Technical Director.

Mrs. Kiser is a proud alumna of The Johns Hopkins University, where she earned her Master’s in Computer Science.

Angela Kiser

DIRECTOR OF CYBERSECURITY & CISO

Dr Arnaldo (Arnie) Horta is Nyla’s Director of Artificial Intelligence for the Intelligence Community. He has more than 27 years of experience delivering both technical solutions and thought leadership. He has worked directly with the Intelligence Community, acted as an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Lead at Booz Allen Hamilton, and worked as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon Web Services. He has demonstrated expertise in Graph Analytics, Natural Languages Processing, Computer Vision, and generalized Machine Learning applications and has published work and conference presentations in these areas. He worked as the Technical Director for a number of organizations, and has led efforts to upskill new data scientists in Machine Learning technologies. This reflects his passion to train the next generation of Machine Learning experts to bring the power of this technology to our clients. 

Dr. Horta has a Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science, and PhD in Mathematics from the University of Miami.

Arnie Horta

DIRECTOR OF AI OF IC

Craig Howser is Nyla’s Director of Artificial Intelligence for the Department of Defense (DoD). Craig has a decade of experience in data orchestration and analysis with a focus on building automated pipelines to bring complex data sets from point-of-creation through machine learning and statistical analysis workflows for intuitive end-user reporting. Craig has worked across the domains of health, national defense, and surveillance while serving as a data engineer, software engineer, data scientist, machine learning engineer, and project manager. No matter the role, he prioritizes support for his teammates and their growth as professionals.

Craig received his Bachelors in Biotechnology from James Madison University and his Masters in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.

VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Mrs. Linda Orlosky is Nyla’s Director of Talent Acquisition. She has 25+ years of leadership experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Management. Linda is a proven leader in the highly competitive Intelligence Community, successfully recruiting and staffing specialized technical personnel on government contracts requiring security clearances.

Mrs. Orlosky graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Business Administration, Personnel, and Labor Relations and received her MBA from the University of Baltimore. She also earned a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR).

Mr. Michael Stratton is Nyla’s Director of Software Engineering. He has over 20 years of professional technical leadership experience. Michael Stratton has a proven track record of successfully leading complex software projects from conception to delivery. With his strong expertise in software development methodologies and cutting-edge technologies, he has consistently delivered high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. His extensive knowledge of agile development practices and ability to manage cross-functional teams have made him an invaluable asset to Nyla Technology Solutions. 

Mr. Stratton graduated from Western Governors University with a BS in Computer Science.
